8:30am – Arrival/check-in
8:45am-9am – Orientation: This includes our Safety Orientation that ALL volunteers are required to receive every time they come on site.
9am-11:30am – Working to complete the assigned tasks for the day.
11:30am-12pm – Lunch
12pm-2:30pm – Working to complete the assigned afternoon tasks.
2:30pm-3pm – Clean up and closing remarks.
Parking: We have partnered with the Church across the street, and they have agreed to let us use their parking lot. Their address is 1110 Church St.
Dress Code: Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. As a safety consideration, avoid loose-fitting or baggy clothes. Please check the weather before you come out and dress accordingly.
Sturdy, thick-soled, closed footed shoes are required (No Crocs). We strongly recommend wearing boots; however, we realize that not all volunteers own a pair of boots. Our Site Supervisors have final say as to if a certain type of shoe is allowed on the construction site.
Lunch/Water: We will be providing lunch. We will have a cooler of water on site however we recommend that you bring a water bottle, this helps us cut down on plastic waste.
