Thank you for volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake!
PLEASE NOTE: We will be working outside, installing siding. You will be working on 2-story high scaffolding (15-20 ft) - scaffolding is a temporary structure on the outside of a building, made usually of wooden planks and metal poles, used by workers while building, repairing, or cleaning the building.
IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS, DO NOT SIGN UP.
We are looking forward to having you out on site. Please fully read this description to get the most up to date information. We rely heavily on volunteers to meet our construction schedule. If volunteer’s sign-up and do not show up, it impedes our ability to provide affordable housing. PLEASE UNREGISTER IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO VOLUNTEER.

Our Site Supervisors have final say as to if a certain type of shoe is allowed on the construction site.
Lunch/Water: Please bring your own lunch as some of our build sites are not located near any place to buy food. We will have a cooler of water on site however we recommend that you bring a water bottle, this helps us cut down on plastic waste.
