volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake!
Please join us at our Halethorpe Construction Warehouse on 9-2-26 from 10am to 3pm
Some things to note about volunteering in our Warehouse:
- Sturdy, thick-soled, closed-footed shoes (NO Crocs) are required.
- Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
- Water is provided. Bringing a refillable water bottle is recommended.
- Volunteers must be 18 and older.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please Unregister 48 hours in advance.
To Unregister: Log into your account, click on “Opportunity Responses”, find the shift and select “Unregister” from the drop-down menu and then “Yes” to confirm.
PARKING & ENTRY INFORMATION
Please park in the main lot at the front of the building and enter through the office entrance in suite #309. Call 443-297-5229 for any help.
WAREHOUSE VOLUNTEER TASKS
Potential tasks may include:
Clearing loading zones and moving furniture to woodshop.
Sorting materials (hardware, cabinetry, tools, etc.).
Basic maintenance (sweeping, cleaning and organizing).
And much more!
