Scope of Work: Anything goes as we work on finishing the next four houses: drywall, painting, flooring, trim, site clean up, etc. are all possible tasks. Location: Orchard Ridge Schedule: 9am – Arrival/check-in 9:15am – Orientation: This includes our Safety Orientation that ALL volunteers are required to receive every time they come on site. 9am-11:30am – Working to complete the assigned tasks for the day. 11:30am-12pm – Lunch 12pm-2:30pm – Working to complete the assigned afternoon tasks. 2:30pm-3pm – Clean up and closing remarks. Parking: There is parking in the construction site. Parking is limited, please car pool if you can. Dress Code: Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. This opportunity is for the Evening Shift from 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm We rely on your commitment to volunteer. Volunteers 14 and 15 years old must be accompanied by a chaperone for the duration of the shift. Volunteers 16 and older do not need a chaperone. DRESS CODE Sturdy closed-footed shoes are required (No crocs, high heels, or open-toed shoes). Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. As a safety consideration, avoid loose-fitting or baggy clothes. No dangly jewelry or clothing items that could get caught or snagged on something.
